The analysis covers the transmission networks of Georgia and Romania as well as those of the neighboring countries impacted from the realization of the proposed project, and it is performed for several target years, loading conditions and power transfer levels between countries. The main objective of the study is to evaluate the adequacy and security of the transmission systems on the two sides of the HVDC link in order to meet the specified performance criteria while sustaining the required power exchange on the interconnection.
