About the Role:
We are looking for a System Integration Expert to lead the design and specification of integrated energy data systems.
You will work closely with utility clients, technology vendors, and internal stakeholders to shape the architecture and operational readiness of large-scale data deployments. This role is ideal for someone with both technical depth and a consulting mindset.
During your day, you will:
- Work with utility stakeholders to define performance, availability, data latency, scalability, and security requirements for utility application ecosystems
- Develop technical specs and interface definitions for metering systems (IEC standards, APIs, data exchange protocols) aligned with utility operational processes related to data management and validation
- Support all stages of system integration from end-devices to energy Data Management Systems (MDMS), and utility enterprise platforms
- Serve as a technical advisor during procurement, system design, testing, and rollout phases. Support business case development and regulatory submissions as needed
- Bridge technical and non-technical teams—translating complex system design into actionable plans for IT, operations, and regulatory teams
To be a fit, you will need:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in energy data, utility IT systems, or system architecture - ideally in a consulting or systems integration role
- Understanding of communication protocols and utility data flows
- Proven experience in systems integration, data modeling, or enterprise architecture within the energy sector
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. DLMS/COSEM, IEC 61968/61970, CIM, IEC 62056)
- Strong communication, analytical, and client-facing consulting skills
- Fluency in English (oral & written)
