Substation Automation & Commissioning Electrical Engineer

About the Role:

As a valuable member of our team, you will have the opportunity to deal with the technical challenges and problems that modern Power Systems face today. While working in Maintenance Testing & Controlling Dept, you will use your technical knowledge and skills on site to solve problems and provide specific technical solutions and guidance to clients. You will also have the opportunity to work with experienced engineers in the field of power systems.

During your day, you will get involved with:

• On site testing of substation automation systems in HV/MV substations using specialized equipment
• Engineering and design of HV/MV networks
• Operation and control procedures regarding HV/MV equipment & control schemes
• On site testing of electrical wiring and interconnections
• On site testing of electrical distribution and Protection & Control Panels
• Follow FAT for the relevant equipment in panel builder's premises

To be a fit, you will need:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, with specialization in power systems with 2 - 5 years of work experience in a relevant job position or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with 10-15 years of work experience in a relevant job position
• Professional skills with AutoCAD software package
• Effective verbal communication skills in Greek and English
• Willingness and ability to travel within and outside Greece on site visits
